I can’t believe it’s been one year since Andrew & Marina’s cozy laid back wedding at The Loft in the Distillery District! They celebrated their one year wedding anniversary yesterday, and I am so happy to share their big day with you today! Andrew & Marina’s cozy and laid back wedding day was the perfect way to end off my season last year. The day was full of sunshine, confetti, laughter and so many different shades of lavender!

Andrew & Marina got engaged on an island in Croatia where lavender grows all around. They incorporated this into their wedding day seamlessly! It was on their wedding cake, on the tables, and it was also in the bouquets. Perfectly executed and all tied in together so well. I even have a pouch of lavender from their wedding day sitting on my desk. I smell it whenever I need to be reminded of the little beauties in life.

Andrew and Marina had such a laid back wedding day. Getting ready in Airbnb’s right around the corner from each other, everything was so relaxed. I think first looks are not only fun & romantic, but they allow for the rest of your day to unfold in such an enjoyable way. Their first look was so sweet and was just down the street from their Airbnb’s. Trusting me to capture the day using my artistic eye, I think I found some gem spots for us to take photos at! We even had a little kitty friend follow us around while taking photos on a street nearby!

Creating a warm, cozy and romantic vibe, The Loft in the Distillery District was the perfect spot to host their reception. Twinkle lights were strewn across the wall for the ceremony backdrop which added to the romance. The food and service were amazing, and everyone partied their butts off! Take a look at all the fun we had & wishing these two a happy 1st wedding anniversary!
