Omar & KC – Nassau, Bahamas Wedding

I don’t even know where to start with this blog post! First off, thank you KC & Omar for bringing me with you to the Bahamas for the week to celebrate with your friends and family. The whole week was filled with love, laughter, great food & late night chats about life. I couldn’t have asked for a better group to spend time with.

Their wedding day was a unique one in the most beautiful way. They tied the knot at the beachfront Airbnb they rented for the week, up on the deck surrounded by lovely pink flowers. The bouquets were hand made from local flora by family & friends, and everything about the day was just so… perfect.

In the morning, the guys headed to a local barber shop to get fresh trims and shaves, while the girls had their own adventures getting ready at the beachfront property.

I love it when couples have a first look before the ceremony and this one did not disappoint. The look on Omar’s face when he saw KC for the first time was priceless – he held that look for what seemed like forever. Just in awe of how beautiful she was – it was so incredibly sweet.

It was pretty darn hot on their wedding day, so we took some quick photos at the ruins and then headed over to the shade that was the Queen’s Staircase, right in Nassau. I absolutely loved this location – definitely my favourite of the day.

The ceremony was approaching so we headed back to the beachfront property to take some portraits out on the pier before freshening up. Their ceremony was lovely against the pink flowers & the emotions were flowing as they read their vows to each other. I was definitely holding back my tears so I could keep shooting!!

I just love receptions, but a reception on the beach!? Yes please. The waves were crashing in as the speeches were read & the delicious food was devoured. A perfect night on the beach.

Now before I end this post, I just want to say to everyone that was there that week – I’m so happy to have spent it with you all – you are all so amazing.

I can’t believe you all jumped in the pool…
