Distillery District Engagement Session
So these two are getting married this weekend and I wanted to share a little glimpse into their Distillery District engagement session! Erica & Matt have this fun, free flowing energy about them, and they always seem to be laughing! Having first met in geography class in grade 10, they were just friends but never dated. Erica says that in 2012, ‘Matt messaged her over Facebook to take her out in his hot car’. Since then, they’ve created a strong bond with two adorable children and this is the weekend that they say I do! Strolling around the Toronto Christmas Market drinking coffee, and having tons of laughs, they were super open to me putting them in weird spots and letting me get creative! I love it when couples completely trust me!!
The proposal story
From Erica:
“We always go to the distillery district for oysters at Pure Spirits then to El Catrin. When we first got to Pure Oysters, Matt went to the ‘washroom’ and 2 minutes after he got back the manager came with a tray of oysters and in the middle was a martini glass with the ring box inside. Matt got down on his knee in the middle for the restaurant and proposed! ”
Umm how sweet is that guys?! I can’t freaking wait for your wedding this weekend you two!!
