A golden hour engagement session with horses has been on my list of things I have wanted to photograph forever. Rae came to me in search of a photographer for her friend who was getting married in August, but unfortunately I was not available. In need of a photographer herself, Rae & Greg booked me for their barn wedding in September! Chatting about engagement session ideas, she informed me that she had horses at a stable! I am pretty sure I stood up and did my happy dance because I have been waiting for the universe to bring me something like this for the longest time!
Rae was so beautiful in her long and flowy maxi dress accompanied by a pretty flower crown! One of my fellow vendor friends Pheobe Lo made the flower crown for her as a special surprise for the shoot! The horse we chose for the shoot was Fancy, and she was beautiful and so funny – she wouldn’t stop eating. The lighting was perfect and Rae & Greg just nailed it in front of the camera as I captured their love.
Their barn wedding is tomorrow and I couldn’t be more excited to capture it all & soak it all in.
