Muskoka Engagement Session

Muskoka has a huge place in my heart so when Katie & Matt wanted a muskoka engagement session at their cottage I was over the moon excited!! These two have such a sweet kind of love towards each other. The giggles and sweet kisses were in full force during our session and don’t forget about the two pups who made a special appearance! Having a bonfire during your engagement session is one way to my heart, but chilling lakeside in the rain hold a special place as well. I’ll never say so to Muskoka and I’m so happy we got to make memories up there together!

How they met

‘Me and Matt both have a huge love for country music. In 2015 we both attended Boots and Hearts Festival with our friends. Both coming with a large group of friends, it turned out that we had some mutual friends within those two groups. Matt first approached me when he saw me walking with a huge bacon sandwich. He tried to buy it off me! I had walked about 30 minutes and waited in a long line up for that sandwich so I basically told him to go get his own (not very nicely). Basically, he knew I was sassy from the beginning so he can’t complain now. Anyways, he then came to my campsite with our mutual friends, & we began talking. From that moment, we spent the entire day together walking around the venue and listening to our favorite artists. We exchanged numbers, and it turned out he lives about 4 minutes from my house! It was interesting because we met somewhere with thousands of people but never met one another in our neighborhood even though it turned out we had so many mutual friends!’

How SWEET!! Their wedding day is in one month and I can’t wait!!
