Toronto Restaurant Wedding at Terroni on Adelaide

Alex & Sarah’s Toronto restaurant wedding at Terroni is one of my favourite restaurant weddings! They were cool, calm and collected all day long, and it was such a pleasure to be a part of their day. Alex & Sarah met on the first day of their Master’s program and they immediately hit it off. Alex said, “She was the first person I talked to (I beelined it right for her)! I asked her out on our first date the day before Valentine’s Day and I haven’t stopped smiling since”!

Proposal Story

“I proposed to Sarah just before Christmas, 2015. We had been living in our first place together so it was our first Christmas together under one roof. Sarah and I both love Christmas so much, more than any other holiday. We had cut down our first tree and had it decorated in the apartment. Our entire apartment was decorated in Christmas ornaments. Our place had an old fireplace so we had stocking hung by the fire. Sarah worked late that day, so I wrapped the ring and put it on top of her stocking. I then bought like 30 candles and put them throughout our entire apartment, with a trail of candles leading from the door to the fireplace.

I had a table with champagne and strawberries all set up in the dinning room and Christmas music playing in the background. When Sarah came home I was standing by the fireplace. I told her I had one gift she could open before Christmas. So she came over and I handed her the wrapped ring. When she unwrapped the box the ring was in, I took the box and got down on one knee and asked her to marry me!”

Wedding Details

Wanting a wedding with great food and great dancing, Terroni on Adelaide fit the bill perfectly. The food at Terroni is amazing, and the space is just gorgeous inside! Let me tell you.. there was no shortage of food or dancing at Alex & Sarah’s wedding. From the all cheese wedding cake made by the Sarah’s sister, the amazing hor d’oeuvres, and delicious pasta – this wedding was certainly one to remember!
