Jump Restaurant Wedding
Brent & Sarah were my first wedding of 2018, and I am so happy to be blogging their intimate Jump Restaurant wedding today! The day started with getting ready photos at The Four Seasons Hotel, in the private residences. Champagne was popped, gifts were opened and I may have taken my most favourite wedding dress shot ever!
Brent and Sarah decided to do a first look on their wedding day, and it was just so smart. First looks are great because it really opens up the rest of the day for enjoying with friends and family and you don’t have to worry about photographs later. Plus it allows you both to have a moment to yourselves and just be alone with each other.
It was a fairly chilly day but that didn’t stop everyone from being super co operative and totally rocking the wedding party photographs! We made it to the Gooderham Building, and strolled up the side streets to their Jump Restaurant wedding reception! Once we made it to Jump Restaurant, I took Brent & Sarah outside one more time to get some portraits of them. Sarah wore a “Just Married” jean jacket that all of her girls have worn at their weddings – it was so special to include that in her day! After the ceremony & cocktail hour, dinner was served & the speeches began. It’s always so lovely hearing what people have to say in speeches, and capturing the emotional reactions that accompany the words. I absolutely love what I do, and capturing those moments for you to look back on!
Why choose a restaurant wedding?
Sarah & Brent said, ” We wanted a venue with great food. We liked the size of the space and the decor that the restaurant already offered. We like the walls of wine and bourbon too”! So simple! Honestly, your wedding day should be about what you want! In their case it was great food at Jump Restaurant, a beautiful space, and spending the night with their closest friends and family!
