Arlington Estate Wedding Photos – Matt & Simona

Simona and Matt’s vision for their Arlington Estate wedding was pure elegance. They popped bottles as they started their day off with close family and friends and got dressed together. Simona’s hair was done by the one and only Jen Envoy and her jeweled bridal hair piece was perfectly placed in her wavy glam hair. Matt’s Garrison Bespoke suit with navy with black accents was sophisticated and the two looked stunning together. Should we do a first look?

The answer for me is always a YES. First looks are great for a few things. The most important is that it gives you two the chance to see each other before you walk down the aisle as wedding days are notoriously busy & can be stressful. Taking some intentional time to be with each other is so important on your wedding day. You get to take some photos together, and with your wedding party which makes space to see your guests later. Now you can chat with your guests during cocktail hour, and snack on all of that delicious food – something that the Arlington Estate is notoriously good for. Matt & Simona opted for a first look and it helped so much to create an ease to their day.

The Arlington Estate Photos

One thing I love about an Arlington Estate wedding is the extremely long ceremony aisle! This entrance creates so much anticipation (and plenty of time to get the photos). Matt & Simona’s ceremony was bathed in fresh florals from Fleurissima By Angie and the guests were given fresh petals to throw during the processional. After the ceremony, the cocktail hour had fresh cut prosciutto, and too many hors d’oeuvres to name. Don’t forget the custom drinks and bubbly to share as the night’s festivities were on their way. The entrances into the reception were not to disappoint and Matt & Simona went straight into their first dance. As candlelight and fresh flowers adorned each table, the evening went with speeches, laughter and tears. One of their must’s though was an amazing band to keep the night going and The Truly Band did not disappoint!
