Spencer’s at the Waterfront Wedding

I absolutely adored photographing this wedding day at Spencer’s at the Waterfront in August. I met the couple while growing up and I’m so honoured to be the one who photographed this special day for them!

The bride was stunning on her wedding day and had such elegant details. Her girls were dressed in beautiful purple dresses and what I loved so much is that she & her girls all had the same shoes. It was so pretty! The guys were looking quite smooth when I got to the room to photograph them. Having gone to highschool with all of them it was so cool to be a part of everything and see familiar faces again. They were definitely a lot of fun all throughout the day, and it was so nice to catch up with everyone!!

Spencer’s at the Waterfront is a crazy beautiful venue and very contemporary. The main room the couple chose for their wedding ceremony & reception was The Observatory and it was just delightful to photograph in! The ceremony was heartfelt, emotional, and followed by a fun champagne toast with the wedding party & family at the end. We ventured around the property & down to the water for our wedding party photos. The light was golden and perfect, and the wedding party didn’t disappoint giving me their best GQ poses 🙂

The reception was full of hilarious speeches which had all of the guests laughing and me capturing all of their smiles like a ninja with my camera! The food was delicious, and the first dance was so nice. The party kept going on throughout the night, which lead to some very fun dancing – but I’ll keep those photos off the blog!

Congrats again to the amazing couple – you’re wedding day was so perfect & I’m so happy I was there with you both!
