Stef & Agnes – Royalton White Sands Resort Wedding, Montego Bay – Jamaica Destination Wedding Photographer

When a past client calls you to ask you to be a part of her special day in Jamaica you absolutely say YES! I had such a wonderful time for the 4 days I got to spend with everyone for Agnes & Stef’s wedding at the Royalton White Sands Resort in Montego Bay. Destination weddings are great because you get to know everyone who is attending the wedding and create some great relationships!

The colours for their wedding day were teal, violet, turquoise & cobalt blue which were all worked in so nicely. Agnes’ bouquet had lovely orchids and she also had touches of peacock feathers throughout her details as well. I feel destination weddings should be nice and colourful and their colours definitely popped through!

The energy was high that day as the girls and the guys got ready in the morning – and hey why wouldn’t it be? We were in JAMAICA!! Thankfully it didn’t rain right before the ceremony – there was a brief moment when the skies turned a very very dark shade of grey and I was super nervous – but that’s the Caribbean for you! The ceremony was so heartfelt – these two really have a deep love and respect for another.

Cocktail hour graced us with a saxophonist, who played some really romantic tunes, and lead us into the dinner reception. The food was great and the laughter was all around me as I documented such special moments. Following dinner there was a private party down by the pool where the speeches and dance moves came out. Oh and the singing – lots of singing! Agnes and Stef both have a musical background so it was obvious they would steal the mic for a song or two. I’m not going to lie though, their little son Kai stole the show a few times that with his little guitar – and well every time Bob Marley came on later in the night! I think one of my favourite photos from that day is when Agnes was singing and holding their son Kai in her arms, as he drifted off to dreamland! Melted my heart!!

It was such a great time in Jamaica with everyone, and I’m so glad my schedule allowed me to photograph such an important day for these two.
